# iPhone manual without reset

Instead of classic reset of iPhone content and settings, we reset **only network settings.** This saves a huge amount of time - you don't need to create a new iCloud, search for a number under geo, enter a fake address to download apps, after all - except for tictock we don't install anything again! **Potatso, Telegram and other apps you need will stay on your device**. What's more, you can even use your personal Russian iCloud - it won't affect your work in any way. What matters to TikTok is where **it's downloaded from**, and it doesn't take information from iCloud. Let's get on with it!

After successful preparation, you need to reset the device. For a successful reset, it's recommended to know in advance the **geo** you'll be casting in. The **geo** for this example will be the UK.

> *It is important to note that often you will never do these steps in Russian, and often not in English, so memorize the location, not the text of the buttons.*

The first thing we need to do is change the region of the phone (not iCloud, but the iPhone itself) to the desired region. Do the following (all in English):

> ***Settings → General → Language & Region → Region → United Kingdom***.

Regarding language - for example, if English is a non-national language in the country you're geo-tagging, you should change your iPhone's language to the country's language. The device basically does it for you - after setting the required region, the required language will be the first in the list of languages to add (only if you don't already have it installed).

Now let's go directly to the reset:

> ***Settings → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset → Reset Network Settings***.

You need to confirm the reset of network settings and then the iPhone will reboot. In **minute** (!) you have an iPhone in your hands, from which you can cast new videos, having previously removed the SIM .
